Baseball

Ben has started 118 consecutive games at first base since joining the Norse after earning all-state honors at Iowa City West High School. He plans to use his exercise science major in the physical therapy field.

"When I came and visited, I fell in love with the campus and the atmosphere. It's been great playing baseball with teammates and coaches who share the same drive and dedication that I have. Making the Dean's List and winning the conference championship in 2007 and 2009 are three of my proudest accomplishments thus far. I've also been able to job shadow at the Decorah hospital, which has been an awesome experience and given me a lot of insight into my future profession."
