Three Norse Named to All-Conference Team

Co-captains Adam Pyzdrowski and David Keller, and midfielder Jake Kessler have been named to the 2008 Iowa Conference all-conference team.
Pyzdrowski, a junior, was one of four forwards named to the 13-member first-team. Pyzdrowski finished third in the league in scoring thanks to six goals and two assists for a total of 14 points. For the year, Pyzdrowski led the Norse is this category producing 12 goals and three assists for a total of 27 points.
Keller, a senior, was one of five defenders named to the 13-member second-team. Keller finished third in scoring for the Norse producing four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points. He completed his career starting 70 of 73 matches. He produced 10 goals and nine assists for 29 points.
Kessler, a freshman, was one of 10 honorable mention performers. He started 19 of 20 matches this season and finished fifth on the team for total points with nine. He scored two goals and finished tied for the team lead with five assists.
Under the direction of first-year head coach Chris Garcia-Prats, the Norse secured the sixth and final slot for the Iowa Conference post season tournament. After finishing the regular season schedule 4-2-1, the Norse were eliminated in the first round of the tournament by Wartburg 3-2, ending their season with an overall mark of 8-10-2.
