Luther posts second win in a row - defeats Bethel 3-0

Luther exploded for three goals in the final 15 minutes of action here in Decorah en route to a 3-0 victory over Bethel University.

Austin Walther scored his first collegiate goal at 74:04 assisted by Jimmy Laroque. Fifty seconds later, Adam Pyzdrowski tallied his first goal of the season, also assisted by Laroque. If two assists were not enough, Laroque scored Luther's final goal at 89:37 assisted by Mark Fernandes. With his four-point performance this afternoon, Laroque joins Adam Dane leading the Norse in total points.

Pyzdrowski's goal was his 25th of his career moving him into Luther's top-10 for career goals.

Steve O'Meara recorded his second consecutive shutout and third of the season. He needed to stop two point blank shots by Bethel's Michael Voigtlander late in the match to secure the zero on the score board.

The win was Luther's second in a row. The Norse are now 2-3-1. The Royals fell to 5-2.
