Interested in Peace Corps service and a career in social work or ministry, Rachel knew exactly what she wanted in a college -- and, as it turned out, Luther perfectly fit the bill. In her first year on campus, she earned both All-America and Academic All-America honors.

"I wanted to attend a private, liberal arts Lutheran college with a swim team. After visiting Luther, I knew it was the best fit for me because it felt the most like home.

"I competed at the national meet as a freshman, but my most rewarding experiences have been the connections and relationships I've made with my teammates and friends outside swimming. We share similar values and have a lot of fun talking, laughing, and just hanging out."
