Snyder Named louisville slugger/nfca Division iii Co-player of the week

Lauran Snyder, a freshman from San Pedro, California has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week for the week ending April 19. The National Fastpitch Coaches Association made the announcement yesterday. Snyder shared the honor with Linfield pitcher Brittany Miller.

Snyder batted .609 for the week in 23 at-bats, scoring 10 runs on 14 hits with 11 RBIs, three doubles and three home runs. The Norse posted a record of 5-3 that included a sweep of nationally ranked UW-Eau Claire 8-3 (8) and 9-1 (6).

Snyder, who plays third base, increased her season batting average to .344 that includes 10 doubles, five home runs  and 28 RBI.
